were the good people charged with running duke's daily operations aware that they would be trading a national basketball championship for a rape scandal? this turn of events seems to highlight a turning point in a little battle i like to refer to as duke university vs. the city of durham. in this epic sociological matchup, it appears as though the city has begun to infiltrate the minds of its enemy. soon, it will again be considered cool and mentionable to simply purchase your coke directly from the local dealer. all on campus, trust-funded entrepreneurs need not apply.
and, you know what...long live durham. why the hell not, right?
they haven't won the war yet. plus, we have the laX players (old phi psi) fighting this battle for the school? that's like having retarded chimps battle silverback gorillas in a monkey knife fight. i'm just concerned about what this will do to the market for dancers at non-violent house parties.
